ABOUT ME

Dominique Johnson is an educator and consultant who is passionate about supporting the learning and development of children. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Communications at Northwestern University, she earned her master’s degree in Secondary Inclusive Education at Teachers College – Columbia University.

She became a Special Education ELA teacher with the New York City Department of Education. After 4 years, Dominique transitioned from the classroom to developing curriculum in the EdTech space.

She went on to train hundreds of after school program directors to implement academic programming as the Engagement and Instruction Content Specialist for the New York City Department of Youth & Community Development.

After serving as a consultant for EL Education and developing curriculum for schools across the nation, she founded We Major.
